Bergeson Construction is a custom home builder based right here in Logan, Utah. Family-owned since 1979, we've spent four decades building new homes across the valley — from view lots on the east bench to infill lots off Center Street to new subdivisions out toward Providence and Nibley. We build for our winters — not a generic climate.
Cache County requires footings a minimum of 30 inches below grade to get below the frost line, and roofs here are engineered for a 35+ lb/sq ft ground snow load on the valley floor — more as you climb toward the canyon. We build to those numbers as a floor, not a ceiling, and detail the envelope for IECC Climate Zone 6 so your home stays warm through January inversions and efficient through dry August heat.

2. Design & Lot Guidance
We help turn your vision into buildable plans. Don't own land yet? We'll help you evaluate a lot, check utilities, and confirm it's build-ready.
3. Estimate & Budget
We lock in scope, finishes, and a clear budget before any tools come out — so there are no surprises later.
4. Permits & Approvals
We handle permitting and engineering with the right jurisdiction — the Logan City Building Department for homes inside city limits, or the Cache County Building Department for county lots. Each has its own process, and we know them.
5. Build
A dedicated crew does the work with clear communication and a clean job site, keeping you updated through every phase.
6. Walkthrough
We don't call it done until you've walked it with us and you're happy with every detail.
